OK, hold the phone. I don't know about y'all, but I was a HUGE Barbie fan when I was little. In fact, I still am! I'm not afraid to admit my love for Barbie. Funny story, but my parents gave me a Barbie cake for my 18th Birthday (probably the best cake I've ever had to date). I'm secretly hoping my daughter, Courtney, loves Barbie as much as I do so I can play dolls with her when she's old enough. ;)
I love how two classic and iconic brands, Coach and Barbie, came together to make such a chic looking doll. And just look at her outfit and accessories -- too cute, right?
You can get the doll for $95 HERE.
OK, now I know some of you had to have loved Barbie growing as well, don't leave me hangin'. Spill the beans! ;)
Eeeek!! I'm still a Barbie lover. In fact, I still have my whole collection (over two hundred) of Barbies from my childhood. AND I have my mother's brunette 1959 Barbie with the black and white striped swimsuit. I need to do a blog about this. But I don't want to look like a loon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this post! I needed a fellow grownup doll lover in my life.
Ohhhhhhh, I love this! I managed a Coach store for years and I was a major collector of designer Barbies so this is fabulous to me! I did not know about this collaboration. I think I need her :)

I LOVED Barbie growing up! There was nothing like the thrill of seeing that flash of hot pink as you tore the paper off the boxes at Christmas, b-days etc. I still have my whole collection (50+) too, though nothing like Coffee and Cashmere! but unfortunately not the extras. The dream house, the town house, the pool, the bubble bath, the convertible, the horses, the big Barbie head, I had it all! And that Coach Barbie! Is it bad that I'm coveting a doll's head to toe look?
ReplyDeleteThere is something exciting about Barbie. Happy Birthday belated :)
