I sported these sandals back in Middle School and High School (anyone with me?), and I have to say I was quite surprised to see them make a come-back. At first, I wasn't so sure the Birks could look chic -- but that was until I saw the Olsen twins sporting them. I'm usually not one to give into a trends. I have to really love something -- doesn't matter if it's "cool" or not. However, now that I'm a mom, the comfier the shoe the better in my book. I just might have to add the ol' Birks back into my wardrobe for fall. They do look pretty fab with a black blazer and boyfriend jeans.
What are your thoughts on the trend? Are you a fan of the Birkenstock sandal?

ReplyDeleteNo no noooo...I cannot get behind this one! I'm scarred from when my Mom would wear onlyyyy Birkenstocks for years growing up. lol I can see the comfort factor, maybe...but still no in my book.
