Yesterday I was feeling a little preppy slash quirky and decided to pull out a vintage plaid skirt that I scored last year on one of my thrifting adventures. It's actually an old uniform for a school. My black and white gingham shirt seemed like the perfect pairing -- mixing prints is a must this season (really, any season in my book). I found this vintage velvet bow-tie on a thrifting trip this past week. It's actually the first time I've ever worn a bow-tie and I must admit, I kinda like it. This bow-tie is super old too (which makes it extra special). My go-to red Salvatore Ferragamo flats finished off my look. I found these flats while thrifing a few years ago and no matter how beat-up they get, they are still my all-time fave ballet flats.
Are you loving the plaid trend? If so, how are you embracing it?
Fabulous bag and skirt, you look so chic and cute :)
