Hey loves! Remember my post from last Friday? Well the vintage guest post series is kicking off today, and we're starting it off with Yentine from My Edit. I love Yen's blog & style oh so much, and her vintage finds make me swoon! She recently opened her own vintage store (a dream of mine) -- go Yen! Be sure to check out her blog to see her other amazing vintage looks!

"I will say this vintage silk Scassi ranks pretty high for me. I love the print, the long sleeves and the fact that the hem has such a fun wave. It's also the first piece of vintage I ever spent a good amount of money on. I've always thrifted and often vintage would be included in those thrift hauls. I could spot what was vintage but I never really thought about what makes it special. It was just something nice... Now I appreciate the workmanship, quality and history of vintage and me paying close to $100 for this dress was a step for me in recognizing the true value in vintage. And even though $100 is a lot for me to spend on a dress, I have never regretted the purchase. This dress beings me joy both when I wear it and when it's just sitting pretty in my closet... It's like a piece of art on a hanger. "

OH, I love it! Love the dress and super jealous she has a vintage boutique too! I totally agree that as you learn to really appreciate vintage, you realize that spending on the quality of the item is worth it.
