Hey loves! I’m back from a little break and I’ve teamed up with one of my fave destinations for shoes: DSW! If you follow me on Instagram then you are probably aware that I gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Bridgett Claire, on January 9th (I’ll share photos of her on the blog soon!). I’ll be easing back into posting as I begin to adjust to all the changes with two little ones now, but I’m already loving being a mom to a second, sweet little girl. I’m a total shoe fanatic, so whenever I’m given the opportunity to style a new pair on the blog, I’m totally game. We all know that winter is boot season, and DSW has some on-trend styles from top brands. So, whether you’re into the over-the-knee style or a chic ankle bootie, DSW has the hook-up.

Since I’m also adjusting back into wearing clothing that isn’t sweats or pajamas, I went with some of my go-to pieces for a casual yet still put-together look to run some errands (including baby B’s first doc apt and Court’s 2 year check-up). A great pair of distressed denim, a buffalo plaid shirt, and a cozy open cardigan sweater paired perfectly with my new boots from DSW. I’m loving the straps around these boots and also that they’re more of a midi-style (hitting slightly above my ankles). Plus, the chunkier heel on these boots makes them super comfy for running errands, which is exactly what this busy mama craves. I can’t wait to style these boots in other fun ways.
