A lot of you are always commenting or messaging me about how I style my hair, so I'm happy to share with y'all a new product that's helped me achieve my wavy locks. I also want to say a quick thank you for all the compliments and questions I get about my hair. I'm super flattered. :) I've been styling my hair with a particular curling iron for awhile and have actually never used a wand until recently. A lot of my girlfriends have raved about wands and how much they love them, but I was totally fine using the tool I had been using for years. If it's not broken, why fix it, right? Well that's what I thought, but I'm so glad I tried the ghd Curve Classic Wave Wand because it's nothing short of amazing.
I had heard of the ghd brand in the past, and I knew it was a good one, so I was really excited to try one of their products. The wand did take a little bit to get used to, since it was my first time using a wand versus a curling iron, but once I got the hang of it I was loving the results. I've been loving looser, more natural looking waves and this wand is perfect for that. It has an oval shaped barrel that's designed to create classic deep waves with movement. This wand is perfect for that effortless "I woke up like this" kind of wave.
Some pros about this curling iron (other than the gorgeous waves that you will achieve): 1.) It heats up in seconds and you know it's ready because of the light and the sound it makes. 2.) You don't have to worry about adjusting the heat either. One button to turn on and off and the heat is set at 365°F. 3.) The wand has patented tri-zone® breakthrough ceramic technology that ensures the optimum temperature is delivered constantly and evenly all along the barrel of the wand, while still respecting the health of your hair (which is HUGE)! It really locks in your curl for long lasting waves all day. 4.) It also has an advanced ceramic coating that's designed for smoother curling. 5.) It comes with a styling glove that's helps to protect your hand (I've had my fair share of burns from my previous curling irons). 6.) It also has a cool tip for more comfortable curling. 7.) Probably my fave pro (other than the patented tri-zone® breakthrough ceramic technology): it turns off automatically if unattended for 30 minutes. Who else has constant OCD about whether or not they left their curling iron/straightener on?!
One tip I will say is that this particular wand by ghd isn't the easiest for curling underneath on short hair. I curl my hair in sections and had to use the help of my curling iron to get the sections underneath because my hair is much shorter underneath (and this wand is a little wide). It was a little difficult to wrap shorter strands around the barrel. Other than my real short hair underneath, the rest of my hair curled nicely.
So, what do you think about my waves? I'm pretty obsessed. Have y'all used any ghd products in the past? If so, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! xx
Disclosure: I was gifted the ghd Curve Classic Wave Wand in exchange for my post, but all opinions expressed are my own.
Your waves are perfect! I got a long bob just because I love the way long bobs look when they are curly/wavy. I will definitely have to check out that wand:)

Your hair is fabulous and making me want to cute mine! I have a love/hate relationship with clipless wands... 75% of the time my hair turns out good, 20% it turns out weird, and then 5% of the time I end up with a killer burn and give up haha!

It seems so easy but I could never master waves like yours when I used to have longer hair. You have gorgeous hair.

I love how the bob with curls look. I tried to do it when my hair was shorted but I have way too much hair and it doesn't look as pretty as yours
